Aysus shopping trip Paris

– A pop-up boutique whose decoration drew me in is Lyubov (340 rue Saint-Honore): Inside you will find Vespas, old Volkswagen minibuses, ruby helmets, and Russie Blanche cosmetic products as well as clothing.

– A must in Paris, Colette (213 rue Saint-Honore): It is packed; there are more browsers than shoppers. Taking pictures is prohibited. Downstairs you will find books, shirts and cameras while upstairs are mannequins lined up in museum-style formality, dressed in pre-autumn collections.

– One of my favorite brands for men and women, The Kooples (31 rue des Rosiers). Very rock. Very British. The styles are spectacular. They use maroon, which is this season`s color, extensively in their winter collection; I liked a jacket with a 360 Euro price tag.

– My favorite store in Paris, Merci (111 bd Beaumarchais): You could spend a whole day in the 1,500 square meters of the store, regardless of your gender. You will find furniture, Aesop cosmetic products, Mulberry, Jerome Dreyfuss, Isabelle Marant and Acne. It also has a cafe and library.

– K. Jacques (16, rue Pavee): A label specializing in flat sandals, established in 1933 in St. Tropez. A cult, very French. There is an endless selection of colors and styles. Prices are around 170 Euros.

– If you say there is H&M in Turkey now, let us go to one

Don`t leave without a visit to the Merci store where you`ll find anything you`re looking for

Stop off at L`Artisan Parfumeur to purchase a fragrance level up to its brand COS. The address is four rue des Rosiers.

– The decoration of which I became a fan of, L`Eclaireur`s (40, rue de Sevigne) concept is by Belgian artist Arne Quinze. It has a super brand portfolio from Rick Owens to Balmain, from Celine to Lanvin, from Dries Van Noten to Maison Martin Margiela.

– L`Artisan Parfumeur (34, rue des Francs Bourgeois): A perfumer has established in 1976 in Paris. My favorites, the 50ml perfumes are 70 Euros while 100ml cost 95 Euros.

– If you crave for chocolate, the best can be found at Maison Georges Larnicol. The address is 14, rue de Rivoli.

– If you say, `I shopped a lot for myself and should think of my dog, too,` Un Chien dans le Marais (35 bis, rue du Roi de Sicile).

– Hey you, globetrotter! If you say, `Paris is not the Louvre or Notre Dame for me,` then the incongruous neighborhood St. Germain, the birthplace of existentialism and the heart of alternative art awaits you.

– Galleries are around rue Dauphine, lined up on every street until the Musee d`Orsay. Lumas, which you will remember from Berlin, is also located here.

– The address for cartoon lovers: The alleys of St. Germain Boulevard from the river bank, including, Quai des Grands Augustins.

– And two addresses for art books: Taschen on rue de Buci, or Assouline on rue Bonaparte…
